The KidzWish Sports Program is aimed at local sick, disabled and disadvantaged children less than 18 years of age, to experience a team sport and further increase their knowledge of life and it's expectations.
Children meet every Tuesday from 4:00pm - 5:00pm at Shellharbour City Stadium (Croome Rd, Albion Park Rail) during school terms.
The benefits of the KidzWish Sports Program include:
- Learning to work as a team
- Providing purpose
- Improving low self esteem
- Developing as an individual
- Being part of the community
- Having fun!
Wheelchair Basketball
Wheelchair basketball has one of the highest profiles in the world of wheelchair sports. Children participate in a variety of fun activities and games which help improve their basketball and coordination skills. Able-bodied children are welcome too!
The wheelchairs act as an even level playing field so all sick, disabled and disadvantaged children are equal during all activities on the court.

Wheelchairs are provided for children who attend the program.
Martial Arts
KidzWish have partnered with Taekidokai Martial Arts to teach special children the basic skills of true martial arts. The vision is to help children stay in shape, stay safe and at the same time have fun while learning self defense.
The art of Martial Arts helps children achieve self discipline, high self esteem, a positive outlook, a spirit of constant improvement and an attitude that refuses to give up.
Martial Arts classes run every 3rd week during school terms.
